Lawspeed is delighted to be presenting this seminar for the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC).
In the last budget the Chancellor announced that the controversial public sector IR35 rules will be extended to include the private sector from April 2020. Agencies likely to be affected are those currently servicing private sector hirers by supplying PSC contractors, many of whom may be currently regarded as outside IR35. The changes to the rules will impact on process, risk, liability, charging structures and profitability, so how to start dealing with the planned change?
This comprehensive, half day seminar is suitable for anyone needing to know how to address the new data protection rules, set to apply from 25th May 2018, in practice. This is especially recommended for those involved in compliance and HR in the context of recruitment and staff hire operations (both internal and external).
Lawspeed will be speaking at an ARC meeting to be held at the CBI offices in London on 10th January 2018, to provide a summary update on next steps in the GDPR process. This follows a discussion with Steve Keeler from the Employment Agency Inspectorate (EAS), part of the Department of BEIS.
