Meet the trade organisation that fights for recruiters in London next week
ARC chairman, Adrian Marlowe, will be at the Recruitment Agency Expo at Olympia, London on Tuesday 26 February and is looking forward to meeting business owners from across the recruitment industry to discuss the big issues of the moment.
Adrian will be at the ARC stand – number 150 – from 11am next Tuesday and all Expo visitors are invited to come along for a chat. The ARC is always keen to hear news and opinions from across all sectors. What are the priorities in your business this year and what challenges are you facing?
At 4.30pm Adrian will deliver a short, punchy seminar looking at the issues raised by the recent Conduct Regulations consultation and the potential impact on employment businesses.

The Recruitment Agency Expo takes place at Olympia on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 February 2013. ARC staff will be on stand 150 throughout both days to talk about the benefits of ARC membership and answer any queries you may have.

Adrian, a highly experienced lawyer, founded Lawspeed in 1997. He is responsible for developing our extensive portfolio of products and services, including the widely used Lawspeed contract templates. Adrian is an expert on “recruitment law” and specialises in contracts, regulatory compliance, employment status and dispute handling. He is chair of the trade body the Association of Recruitment Consultancies, the only lawyer lead recruitment trade body in the UK. Adrian and his co-director Ravi devised Standards in Recruitment as a vehicle for helping drive up standards and compliance in the industry.
Adrian is our lead in discussions with the government over regulatory evolution. Apart from assisting with client support, Adrian’s primary role is research and development into methods of business delivery, our latest service Proterms being his most recent project. Adrian heads our IR35 lawyers team.
