Lawspeed is pleased to announce that HMRC officials will be speaking on the consultation ‘Onshore Employment Intermediaries – False Self Employment’ at its forthcoming seminar in London on 22nd January 2014.
The consultation is set to affect contractor tax including in relation to PSCs and CIS, and will close on 4th February 2014. The seminar will therefore be of interest to those operating in the staff supply industry.
Adrian Marlowe, MD of Lawspeed said, “it is important that attendees at our seminar not only obtain a solid legal analysis of the consultation proposals from industry experts so that they understand the ramifications, but also have the chance to listen to the government and voice their views to officials direct. This gives all sides, HMRC, industry operators and contractors, the opportunity to understand the proposals in their true context and plan accordingly.”
“We held similar events when the MSC legislation was announced as a result of which some changes were made to draft legislation. I hope we can facilitate a similar result now”.
To book a place at the seminar call 01273 236236.
Lawspeed is also holding a seminar partly on this issue in Manchester on 15th January.
