Employment Agency standards (EAS) at the department of BEIS, has launched a series of webinars for agencies and employment businesses to deal with some common compliance failings. EAS is the organisation responsible for enforcing the Conduct Regulations, and provides information on its expectations for compliance as well as consequences which flow from non-compliance.
There are six webinars from Monday 28 June to Wednesday 30 June, covering inspections, complaints to the EAS, introduction and supply, transfer fees, key information documents and supplying agency workers to work with vulnerable persons. The webinars are limited to 2 attendees per organisation and can be booked at the following link Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate Events | Eventbrite. Should an event be fully booked, ARC members can contact [email protected] in order that we can advise EAS of additional demand.
The Association of Recruitment Consultancies continues to liaise with EAS on issues which may affect our members, and the wider industry.
